Phillipp Schuster is a premier award winning cigar producer. His latest awards include:
- Schuster Co. recieved a Messe Star at the 2011 Intertabak Messe in Dortmund, Germany for best new Cigarillo
- At the RTDA in Las Vegas, European Cigar Journal awarded the Maria Mancini Series the Cigar Trophy for „Best Value Cigar 2011 from Honduras“
- Cigar Clan Magazine voted the Maria Mancini Triple Ligero Maduro Corona Edition as Best Honduran Cigar „Best of Best 2011“
Herr Schuster took some time out of his busy schedule to make a visit to the Magnus Keller to present a few of his companies cigars. I always enjoy my cigar time when it is spent at the Magnus Keller in Miltenberg. Our host, Gerd Falkum, also presented his own creation „Falkum Arabicum“ (enthusiastically received at the Whisky und Tobacco Days 2011). It is a coffee liquor (similar to Kahlua) that is rich, robust and smooth, not overbearing. It complemented the cigars very well.
Phillipp Schuster was a wealth of knowledge, sharing with anybody willing to listen. The cigars he presented were the A. Turrent Triple Play Robusto (Honduras), Maria Mancini Edition 2011 Maduro (Honduras), Casa de Torres 2012 Maduro Belicoso Fino (Nicaragua), and the Rodrigo de Jerez Churchill (Honduras). I liked all four, but my favorite was the A. Turrent Triple Play.
